ABOUT THE FILM
Selma and Noel are the pioneers of Bloodroot, the longest lasting feminist restaurant in the U.S.But Bloodroot is much more than that, it is a space and a community which has inspired generations of feminists, vegans and queer people. Despite challenges, Selma and Noel are coming to terms with leaving the beautiful legacy they have created.
The panel:
After the film, join us for a panel discussion that explores the intersection of food, community, and migration. Through a queer lens, we will look into how kitchens and shared meals can become spaces of belonging, resistance, and care that support movements and communities.
