How to buy
A cinema ticket costs 90 kr. for all our regular screenings. Opening and Closing films cost 100 kr. Tickets can be purchased at the cinemas (Empire Bio or Cinemateket) or online. In our program section there are links to buy tickets for the individual films.
Gift tickets can be purchased at the cinemas only and are not valid for Opening or Closing films.
Tickets for the closing party differ in price and can only be bought online in our program section.
Discounts
Discount tickets can only be purchased in person at the cinemas.
Student and Pensionist Discount - 75 kr.
Are you a student or pensionist? Then you get a discount (price: 75 kr.) on all regular screenings! Just remember to bring a valid student card or pensionist card when you buy your ticket at Empire Bio or Cinemateket.
Discount Card - 400 kr.
Are you a film aficionado or maybe you’re bringing your friends? You can purchase a discount card for five films for a discounted price of DKK 80 per film (400 kr. in total), which can be freely shared with your friends. Discount cards can only be bought and used in Empire Bio and Cinemateket. The discount card cannot be used for screenings with special fees and unused entries are non-refundable.
Financial Accessibility
We would like to make our festival financially more accessible to people who don´t have the means to watch many(or any) of our films. Therefore, we give a limited number of free tickets to people who reach out to us and cannot afford buying a movie ticket.
If you would like to receive one of these free tickets, please fill out the form below before the festival opening day, 24/10.
If we receive more applications for free tickets than we can give, we will make a random draw on who will receive one.
If you receive a free ticket, please note that you have to pick up your voucher at the MIX Booth in Cinemateket.
You will be able to exchange the voucher for a ticket to any regular screenings at Cinemateket and Empire Bio.
Please note that the vouchers are not valid for our opening and closing films.
Organisational Discount
As one of the oldest LGBTQIA+ film festivals in the world, MIX CPH has been a cornerstone of the Danish LGBTQIA+ community, tirelessly promoting visibility, diversity, and inclusion through the power of cinema.
In an effort to make the festival accessible to marginalised communities, each year MIX CPH offers a discount on film tickets to various non-profit organisations that can be shared with the organisation's members.
