Special Screenings
Films can bring people together, spark conversations, and strengthen communities. We understand this, which is why we're creating spaces for the audience to experience that magic collectively! Once again, MIX COPENHAGEN is hosting two special screenings: one for the trans* and non-binary community and another for the QTIBIPOC community. These screenings are exclusively for members of these communities. The initiative seeks to create a space where cinemagoers can see themselves represented not only on the screen but also among the audience. The underlying idea is to unite two marginalised queer communities, allowing them to enjoy films together and have a great time.
QTIBIPOC screening
For people who are racialised (Black/Indigenous/People of Colour) and identify as Queer, Trans, Intersex.
Trans* + non-binary screening
For people who identify as trans, non-binary, gender nonconforming or something other than cis-gender.
The screenings are free of charge and exclusively for people with a trans* experience and racialised people. To receive your ticket, you can contact us by mail: specialscreenings@mixcopenhagen.dk
