Eman, a 28-year-old Palestinian-Egyptian from Brooklyn, is openly queer with friends but fears coming out as bisexual to her devout Muslim mother, worrying it will strain their bond. To conform to her family's pressure, she marries her boyfriend, Q, which forces her to navigate the tension between her true self and her family's expectations.
