Closing Ceremony + ‘Warla’

EVENT
Join us as we come together for one last celebration and bring this year’s MIX CPH to a close. We’ll start the evening with a reception before gathering for our Closing Film and ceremony. Before the film, we’ll announce the winners of the Lili Awards for Best Feature, Best Documentary and Best Short Film, selected by our international jury.
Along with each winner, we’ll share the jury’s words on their selection and what made each film stand out. It’s a moment to celebrate the bold stories, perspectives and filmmakers that have shaped this year’s festival.
Our volunteer team will also share a few final words as we wrap up the 41st edition of MIX CPH together.
ABOUT THE FILM:
19-year old Kitkat finds the family she has longed for in a tight-knit community of trans women. She soon discovers that these women are involved in a criminal syndicate, and kidnap foreign businessmen to fund their surgeries. As their pursuit of gender-affirming care leads them down a dangerous path, Kitkat must confront the cost of belonging and chosen family.
