ABOUT THE FILM

Namibian activist Friedel Dausab is fighting to overturn anti-LGBTQIA+ inherited laws from British colonisation. When he meets other activists from Sri Lanka and Barbados at London Pride, they unite in a powerful moment of community and solidarity. Together, they reflect on the colonial legacy that has forced people in different countries back into the closet.

The panel:

This panel discussion will delve into the impact of Danish colonialism on identity, community, and a sense of belonging. We'll explore how historical legacies continue to influence the lives of queer people, as well as the ways in which solidarity and change can be achieved.
