Taking inspiration from this year’s theme, Bad Herbs, the panel will explore how LGBTQIA+ filmmakers, storytellers, and communities survive, resist, and bloom in environments that can be hostile, oppressive, or indifferent. Queer cinema finds its way into the world despite censorship, funding challenges, and political backlash.
