We know we’re all about the films, but there is just so much good LGBTQIA+ tv out there right now (and let’s face it, sometimes it’s good to binge) so we decided to put together a list of our top tv shows on streaming right now that have been carrying us through this last month of pandemic shut down (and where to find them!) to help you feel a little bit less isolated and a little bit more seen!

Mae Martin is a bisexual comedian who not only writes but also plays the lead role in this semi-autobiographical Netflix show. It's about lesbian love, drug abuse and coming out.

On HBO Nordic

Amusing British spy drama that follows an MI5 security officer and an assassin who is obsessed with each other. Also includes Danish Kim Bodnia as the assassin's very nice boss.

Josh Thomas finds out in his 20s that he's gay, all the while dealing with his mother's suicide attempts. Fun, beautiful and heartbreaking – all at once.

‘Sore Arse’ (2019)

On TV2 Play

Tessa moves into a queer collective in Copenhagen. This is important and beautiful representation of queer life in Copenhagen. Directed by former MIX'er Rikke Kolding and with our own Andrea Coloma in a supporting role. It's a must-see.

‘Sex’ (2020)

On TV2 Play

Solid Danish drama series from queer creates Clara Mendes about Cathrine who falls for Selma while she is in a relationship with Simon. It's sexy, beautiful and really well written.

On Netflix

A beautiful story about a queer collective in San Francisco and their troublesome history. Think LGBTQ+ history, with drama and stories you can feel at home in.
