The film: Fatherhood

From 1979 to 2016, trans people in Norway were forced to undergo sterilisation, denying them the right to have children. Kris has dreamed of fatherhood since kindergarten, and holds onto hope and positivity despite past and present injustices. With Sindre, David, and their loving families, he joins in a fierce and hopeful fight for change.

The panel:

We invite you to stay after the screening of 'Fatherhood' to follow a panel discussion on trans rights within the healthcare system and on what it means to be a trans parent in today's society.

Panelists:

Cosmo (he/they)

Cosmo’s biggest superpower is being a Baba to two magical children (ages 6 and 4).

A filmmaker and Five Element Acupuncturist based in NV, Copenhagen. Cosmo founded COSMOS – a trans-owned community care space and acupuncture clinic in Cph, DK in 2024. Their work focuses on healing trauma and holding spaces of care, especially for QTI/BIPOC communities.

Their work is guided by a deep commitment to collective care, storytelling and liberation.

Adam Goslett (trans man, he/him)

Adam Goslett is an outspoken trans advocate and is publicly sharing his proces becoming pregnant whilst advocating for trans inclusion in the workforce.

Cami Tved (they/them)

Cami Tved is a midwife, master in sexology and therapist. They work primarily with queer and lgbtq+ clients and families, and are specialized in queer sexual health and reproduction, and the intersections between gender, sexuality, race and class

Moderator:

Sol A. Wendel (they/them)

Sol A. Wendel is a Danish journalist and documentarist. Together with Evo S. Sidney they created and directed the movie "Trans Hero" that premiered in 2024.
