Bartek runs a small horse farm in the Polish mountains. He had to become the head of the family when his father left. When their neighbor dies, his son Dawid comes back to their village for the funeral, and Bartek becomes fascinated by his carefree ways. His first love will force him to decide if he is ready to choose between freedom or family obligations.
