MIX is continuing the tradition of curating a short film program centered around the experiences of trans people. The importance of trans representation in cinema is more crucial than ever and we are determined to keep highlighting the amazing work that is being created, often against all odds. Like the full-length features with trans characters in this year’s selection, all trans roles portrayed in this short program are exclusively played by trans actors.
